With a population of over 300 people these teams are a competitor leading, purpose built Global Hub, covering a multitude of Planning areas where we share best practice in a centralized and standard way to deliver industry leading service at best cost and the right level of inventory. Our Global Supply Planning team is an important part of Coty's business. Sitting within the Planning zone of the Supply Chain function the team are responsible for ensuring our products are made and delivered to the right distribution centres, on time and in full. This is achieved by delivering the best balance of service, inventory, cost and sustainability, that delivers the Company's revenue and cashflow objectives. THE ROLEThe Planning Manager leads a team of professionals to deliver fill rate and inventory for their area of responsibility. Our Planning Managers work across the following areas within Supply Planning:Material Supply Planning MSP: Working with Suppliers to ensure materials availability for site production, materials supply risk resolution and escalation, and materials inventory optimization. MaterialSupplyManagement MSM: Working with suppliers and procurement function to drive supplier capability and agility, long terms capacity planning and business continuity planning. Master Production Scheduling MPS: Working with plants on finished goods planning and scheduling, production capacity and volume control, and finished goods inventory optimization. New Product Development Planning NPD: Initiatives capacity assessment, Initiatives planning and coordination, PIPO Management. Risk Management and prioritization, initiatives execution and delivery at market level. Support and input to Supply Network Design projects. Distribution Requirements Planning DRP: Working with supply planning functions to ensure finished goods deployment and availability at the distribution centers, balancing service, cash, cost, and sustainability. Risk management and prioritization for base business and launches. Leading and driving communication with Market regarding supply availability. Category Supply Planning - Deliver annual glide paths and action plans to deliver the corporate objectives for continuous improvement in Inventory and Fill Rate. Inventory management and performance, planning operating strategy definition and optimization, AOP and Production volumes coordination, and product discontinuation coordination and optimization. Planning Capabilities: System expertise including training and development, system enhancement, planning SPOC for cross functional projects, establishing planning standards and system usage adherence. Leadership and development of your teamDEI targets and initiatives Core responsibilities:Define and lead the daily operational team strategies, aligned with Planning vision, ensuring clear communication and team engagement so that KPIs and deliverables are successfully executed. Build reliable and partnering relationships with key stakeholders across a global network to deliver targets. Lead the resolution of problems escalated, by creating mitigation plans and engaging the team to the solutions, following the relevant process, and escalating further where appropriate. Lead the risk management processes as applicable to the Planning area. Be a strategical partner by delivering, optimizing and analyzing reports and projections for the assigned scope, identifying anomalies, trends and intelligence making recommendations accordingly. Key systems user, supporting the team with functionality and leading configuration as necessary. Daily operational leadership to deliver best in practice processes in the applicable area:Initiative Planning – planning readiness to launch new products to markets. Material Supply – strategic supplier management (capacity/performance) including working with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time. Production Planning – working with remote plants, creating their production plans, and ensuring capacity. Deployment and Availability Planning – ensuring the right products get to the right distribution centres and communicating with local market teams regarding supply. Master Data – Creating new Supply Chain Master Data or correcting errors. Supply Chain Performance - deliver annual glide paths and action plans to deliver the corporate objectives for continuous improvement in Inventory and Fill Rate. Leading the team:Define and set individual and team goals and KPIs ensuring stretch and accountability to deliver. Ensure a culture of inclusivity and development within your team. Role model the meaningful review of performance through the annual appraisal process and continuous touch points throughout year. Ensure team members are onboarded and set up for success in their role. Build the capability of the team, and the members individually, through coaching and development. Ensure 100% completion of your direct reports and the wider team for all people initiatives (such as goal setting, performance reviews, mandatory training completion, Code of Conduct). Continuous improvementChampion the development and improvement of processes and tools using analytical and problem- solving skills. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to develop their ideas/ways of working.
