WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs SCF Insurance Global Business Development Manager, you will be in charge of developing the insurance functions of Products, Direct Channels, Data Analytics, Planning & Budgeting, and Conduct Risk Control, working with the actual persons leading those functions, and with global and local functions, to ensure the continued substantial contribution of the Insurance Business to the P&L of SCF.
You will report to the Global Head of Insurance Business at SCF HQ.
You will add value to the very competent professionals already leading the above-mentioned areas and have a growth mindset to work collaboratively with our team:
SCF Insurance Global Distribution Manager, your peer, to co-create the businessGlobal SCF HQ Areas: Auto, Consumer, Renting, Regions, Legal, Compliance, Controlling, RiskLocal insurance teams and consumer finance commercial managersGlobal Captive Insurance Companies in Ireland and Malta3rd party Global/Local Insurance PartnersYou will develop the insurance functions for:
Products related to loans/vehicle (CPI, GAP, EW, Car Insurance) and non-related (accidents)Direct Channels, developing telemarketing and direct customer e-journeysData Analytics, governing the MIS, ensuring data excellence, assessing CRM modelsPlanning & Budgeting, oversight and control of local, captives, and global budgetConduct Risk Control, ensuring customer awareness of purchases and ensuring full complianceSKILLS & KNOWLEDGEDeep understanding of consumer finance and insurance both in car financing/renting/leasing as well as consumer financeKnow-how in the following fields:Sales networks, both indirect (POS) and direct (Telemarketing, e-channels, branches)Marketing of insurance and financial productsInsurance functions areas (Customers, Products, Direct Channels, Data Analytics, Planning & Budgeting, and Conduct Risk Control)Experience in collaborating in a multi-dimensional organization (global-local, business-control) and multicultural organization, with multiple objectivesExcellent communication skills and seniorityGrowth mindsetVery strong focus on sales and P&L results.
EXPERIENCE10 years in insurance/consumer finance with roles in marketing and commercial.
Demonstrated experience in (a majority) the demanded skills.
EDUCATION & LANGUAGESAcademics: BS/MS preferably in business, commercial, actuarial, engineering, or mathematicsEnglishSpanish recommended (not a requirement)OTHER INFORMATIONAble to travel.
Promote business growth by product (e.g., cards, loans, insurance, etc.
), segments (e.g., retail, business, etc.
), or channels (contact center, specialized branches, etc.)
