Mission
The Global Market Access & Pricing Team seeks a key member who actively shapes the commercial strategy, ensuring optimal pricing and reimbursement for products across Europe, the US, and international markets. The successful candidate will communicate payer value, differentiate Almirall brands, and provide transversal support for other marketed drugs. They will join a company with a diverse product pipeline and a highly qualified Global Market Access team with stimulating professional challenges in a pleasant working atmosphere. The position is at the company's headquarters in Barcelona, and it is possible to work remotely some days per week (hybrid role).
Tasks and Responsibilities
Recommend strategies for optimizing price and reimbursement across markets and products, ensuring long-term profitability.
Affiliate Coordination: Collaborate with affiliates and partners to incorporate their input into brand access strategy development and execution.
Value Proposition Updates: Develop and map updates for value propositions, comparative effectiveness arguments, and payer value messages to secure target pricing and market access.
Market Awareness and Expertise: Stay informed about competitive landscapes, international reference pricing, and regulatory rules, with experience in US, European, and other markets.
Above brand market access team support: Support market companies in developing country-specific pricing and reimbursement dossiers. Provide hands-on support in developing cross-brand initiatives and projects that enhanced the market access function within and beyond the global market access team.
Education & Experience
University Degree
More than five years of experience in life science
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Pricing and Market Access
Master's degree in Health Economics, Market Access, or MBA is a plus.
Skills & Competences
Results-oriented with strong analytical skills and a business mindset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to understand and communicate complex scientific and economic topics.
Knowledge of health economics.
Relevant knowledge of payer and HTA systems in the European and USA markets is a must.
Strong project management skills and capacity to manage several projects with competing priorities.
Ability to generate high-quality project and strategic plans.
Creativity for problem-solving.
Fluency in English. Other languages are a plus.
