Sener is currently looking for a Flight Physics Engineer to join our team at our Madrid work center.We are looking for a senior engineer to help us in the flight physics activities of air vehicles and systems in the frame of national and international Defense European projects.We are a pioneering engineering company in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration.
In defence, we design and produce equipment and systems, including unmanned systems.Our passion for precision has made us a trusted partner of leading space agencies, government agencies and companies.What you will do:Main Goals:Lead Flight Physics activities associated to the design of air vehicles (manned and unmanned).Main Tasks:Definition of Air Vehicle lay-out configuration.Aerodynamics:Aerodynamic design of loft surfaces, control surfaces, intakes / exhausts, fairings, etc.Propulsion System Integration.CFD Simulation.Wind Tunnel Testings definition and correlation.Flight Dynamics:Flight Mechanics simulation models.Aerodynamic Loads.Stability and Control Analyses.Handling Qualities.Flight Performances:Mission Profiles.Operational Performances.Provide support to SENER design team for:Flutter Analyses.Weight and Balance.Air Vehicle systems integration (systems location, defueling sequences, etc.
