We are looking for an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to lead and manage our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) efforts.
The MLRO will oversee the delivery and development of effective and compliant AML practices in the Spanish market across all departments and personnel.Your tasksResponsible for MLRO functions in SpainAct as the escalation point for internal STR/SARs and accurately assess AML/CTF riskSubmit STR/SARs to appropriate law enforcement and regulatory bodiesAnalyse and respond to information requests from the relevant enforcement authorities and/or regulatory bodiesInteract with group Fraud, Risk, Safer Gambling, and AML Investigation teams, and guide on AML/CFT mattersEnsure that all reporting obligations, both internal and external, are fulfilled in a timely mannerPerform Quality Assurance on AML Operations team investigations, identify issues and improvements, and report findings to the businessLead the development and maintenance of functions, processes, and technologies related to AML, SOF/SOW, CDD, EDD, verifications, and risk profilingEnsure appropriate internal cooperation, coordination, and information sharing occurs within various teamsAssess and evaluate changes and/or new initiatives to the platform, including enhancements and additions of new productsMaintain a detailed knowledge of regulations relating to AML/CFT/Safer Gambling/Gambling Regulatory Compliance, particularly those related to the Spanish marketEnsure the appropriate level of AML/CTF training is delivered to relevant staffEnsure that all AML/CFT documentation is constantly kept updated and reflective of compliance requirements and regulatory expectationsLead any internal/independent/regulatory audit covering matters related to AML/CFTProvide regular reports and/or updates to senior management as and when requiredYour profile3+ years of experience in a similar AML or compliance senior roleIn-depth knowledge of AML/CFT regulations in SpainPrevious experience in the online gaming sector or financial institutionsProficiency in Spanish, written and spoken, and a good level of EnglishExperience in submitting STR/SAR to regulatory authoritiesExperience in handling/leading inspections and/or auditsOur offerCompetitive annual base salary within the industryPrivate health insuranceMonthly and annual wellness pack: Gym allowance of 50€ per month (gym, pilates, crossfit, yoga, any sport you practice) and Mental Health support of 250€ per yearFlexible working hours, hybrid work model, and a healthy work-life balance cultureCoffee, tea, and snacks always in the office, fresh fruit every day, and a weekly meal with the team within the facilitiesTwo (2) large corporate events per year, and smaller team buildings during each quarterBirthday monthly celebrations at the office #J-18808-Ljbffr
