We work at the core of the industry that moves us every day.Tasks & Responsibilities:We are looking for a Molding Project Manager in the Martorell area:The candidate will be responsible for the development of new molds (and related automation), or improvements to existing ones, for the injection of plastic components. He/she will oversee the execution of each project, from the initial concept through design development, construction, start-up, validation, and transfer to production.He/she will be the subject matter expert for any questions and inquiries related to plastic components, both internally and for our customers, with the goal of bringing in new business.Tasks:Lead engineering projects for the development of new molds and the improvement of existing ones.Work together with the clients (internal or external) in the product design development, including Design For Moldability (DFM).Define user requirements and specifications for the molds.Lead the mold vendor selection to identify the right manufacturer for the mold.Follow up the mold design and construction.Define and execute test protocols for process development and performance verification (FAT/SAT).Provide support for process validation.Create, track and meet project schedules, plans, and budget.Coordinate with team members, as well as internal and external suppliers, through the different milestones and project reviews.Prepare the necessary documentation for the transfer to production (SOPs, maintenance plans, control plans, etc.).Document the progress of the projects following the internal methodology.Provide engineering support to processes and equipment in production when necessary.We offer:Permanent contractLife insuranceTicket restaurantSkills & Knowledge:Minimum education level: Engineering degree, ideally Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 5 years of experience in mold design and development, ideally in a highly-regulated field.Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment with all levels of leadership.Proficient with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.Microsoft Office Skills and basic knowledge of SAP.Fluent in English, speaking and writing.Job Location:Employment Type:Full-timeOnline ApplicationWe are looking forward to your application.
