Mission and Responsibilities:
As a Model, Liquidity, Structural and Capital Risk Analyst, you will help to enhance the monitoring and analysis of model risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and capital risk through quality analysis by creating and improving automatically generated data reports.
Accountable for supporting and facilitating the production and delivery of a wide range of performance monitoring and reporting data.
Responsible for sourcing & providing quality assured information, monitoring performance of credit risk models (admission scoring models).
Review a variety of datasets of varying complexity to ensure accuracy and then cascading to relevant teams highlighting areas of concern or risk.
Be responsible for the maintenance of the data sets which includes downloading external data from numerous data sources, as well as collecting local data in order to ensure robust reporting via appropriate dashboards.
Support the production of regular written reports both internal and external.
Provide support from the Second Line of Defense for the Control and analysis of Liquidity and Capital Risk, Balance Structural Risks and Model Risks.
To be successful in the role you must have:
Years of experience in a similar role.
University studies in Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Engineering or Business Administration / Economics with a solid technical background in programming / database management.
Knowledge and practical skills of SQL and Python. Practical knowledge in dashboard creation with tools such as QuickSight (AWS) or PowerBI will be valued.
Excellent knowledge and practical skills of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail and data accuracy.
Confident and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent team worker, assertive with good influencing skills.
High level of English.
