The Network practice team for the Telco & Media sector is looking for Project Managers is looking for a Senior Engineer with a deep technical understanding of the end-to-end mobile data navigation and its different use cases over 3G, 4G, 5G oriented to international business.
You will be joining to an area with focus in the technical development of mobile connectivity, new technologies and applications, leading the engineering of international Data Roaming and its monitoring systems, Data Break Out Solutions, EDGE & VoLTE environments and its evolution to 5G for Telefonica Group.
Profile and experience Education in the field of telecommunications, communication systems or similar; good understanding of IP networks and protocols in 3G, 4G and 5G.
8 years of proven experience on Engineering + Operations and leading transversal and international projects.
Proven experience working in an MNO (Mobile Network Operator).
Proven Experience on the deployment, engineering, configuration, delivery, and operation of different mobile network elements and protocols: GTPv1, GTPv2, PGW/GGSN, SGW/SGSN, DNS, GTP Proxy, Firewall, VAS, IP Protocol, DPI, BGP, Static Routes, NAT, CGNAT, CUPS, 5G Core.
Good understanding and standard analysis for packet core GTPx, DNS, VoLTE and 5G.
Knowledge in DNS protocols for APN resolution and internet navigation.
Experience using monitoring and tracing signaling tools.
Knowledge of 4G/5G Private Networks and 3GPP & GSMA Documents.
Good knowledge of English (fluent both oral and written).
Tasks Develop and create the technical and evolution requirements for the Mobile Core and its VAS, including Data Roaming monitoring and transport, GTPv1, GTPv2, GGSN/PGW, DBO and GTP Proxy.
Lead technical projects with direct interlocution with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
3rd level support for Operation Work with multiple vendors for designing and deployment of Data Roaming solutions.
End to end Project management to ensure the target deadlines are met and raise a flag in case of any risk.
