A400M Global Support Inventory Manager Job Description:Accountabilities The jobholder is accountable for managing, controlling, operating, and optimizing the inventory levels and demand management activities to support the A400M Global Support contract, which is our main in-service support solution for the A400M to provide material availability support to our core nations (France, Spain, UK, and Belgium) in Airbus Defence and Space (Transport perimeter).Main Activities The jobholder is responsible for ensuring the full performance of the demand anticipation and inventory levels management activities associated with the A400M Global Support contract.Main Accountabilities Lead the definition and implementation of internal processes and KPIs (customized according to each Customer's performances) that will maximize the advanced planning of spare parts (ensuring the right balance between financial constraints and contractual requirements).Build and continuously reinforce an atmosphere of trust with the international network involved in the contracts (Local teams in MOBs, Customer, Supply chain, Logistics teams, etc.). Emphasizing daily processes with Local teams at Customer's MOB to lead a clear teamwork spirit focused on a common objective: 'Customer fleet availability/Customer satisfaction.'Development and maintenance of a solid business model together with the different functions supporting the MRO activities worldwide for our Customers under a PBL contract. Special focus on the common understanding on the anticipation levers.Ensure timely delivery of solutions of activities under the area accountability and ensuring support of acquisition for new projects.Outputs The jobholder is fully accountable for the inventory levels management for the most important in-service support solution for our main core nations flying the A400M platform (France, UK, Spain, and Belgium), which means direct impact in terms of P&L.Advance planning and forecasting processes that will maximize spare parts availability directly contributing to Customers fleet availability and, therefore, to Customers satisfaction.Required Skills Knowledge required:Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.Strong knowledge and experience in Supply Chain and logistics areas (APICs, Logistics certifications). Appreciated past experience in Inventory Management.Ability to deal with large sets of data with an advanced level in office package (Excel and Access).SAP R/3 (Logistic-Production module) expert level, work experience in production, planning, inventory, and purchase orders management transactions.Ability to concurrently manage multiple complex projects and adapt effectively in a dynamic environment with unpredictable and shifting priorities.Strong problem-solving abilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
