A vacancy for a System Engineer in Fuel Systems for Air to Air refuelling Operations has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe.
Tasks & AccountabilitiesYour main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Mechanical & Mechatronic Development Engineering: Specify, Design, qualify and certify for Mechanical & Mechatronic Sub-system / Equipment / Component / Module considering the following factors: Safety, Systems Performance, Cost, Environmental, Operational and Industrial Requirements.We act as a Design Office for the ATA48 (Air to Air Refuelling- Fuel Systems) for MRTT, A400M and M&L platforms.
We also participate in the new developments of such capability (AAR) for Airbus Products.Our responsibilities include the preliminary design, Architecture and definition of the AAR fuel systems (storage, pumping elements, distribution, control..) and AAR devices such as the Hose & Drogue Refuelling units.
We are also responsible for the development, testing, certification and Continuous Airworthiness of those systems.Required SkillsEducated to degree level in Engineering.Experience with fuel system components (pumps, valves,...) and their performances.Knowledge of the MRTT and A400M platforms and their AAR devices, including operation, maintenance, etc.Experience in certification and qualification processes.Knowledge of new technologies and techniques such as AI, Big Data analysis, engineering models, etc.English advanced.
