.ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM: The Knot Worldwide is looking for a seasoned Creative Director to join our in-house Creative Team to spearhead creative strategy & execution across our suite of brands. Reporting directly to our Vice President of International Marketing, this person will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization (Brand Marketing, Media & Measurement, Email / CRM, Product, Editorial, and Sales), to craft, deliver, and iterate on our creative & campaign platforms. Our International markets include 13 countries, and 13 brands, across 5 languages. We are looking for a truly empathetic and motivational leader, who believes in innovation and taking on complex creative challenges. A natural storyteller, collaborator, and leader, this candidate will be refining the development of creative materials, from concept to production, to drive engagement across multiple channels. As our International Creative Director, you will guide a team of talented designers and videographers, based in London, Barcelona, and New Delhi. RESPONSIBILITIES: Coaching and mentoring a team of designers and videographers in achieving the highest possible standards appropriate for all materials, regardless of medium or platform. Development of our creative strategy, across our 13 brands, with a strong foundation in our couple and vendor audience base. Leading innovative and conceptual solutions to address creative challenges, and drive our marketing strategy through brand storytelling. Efficient and effective collaboration with your international marketing stakeholders and global leadership. Managing projects from integrated campaigns to channel-specific production, that drive action, engagement, and retention from our audiences. Ensuring all creative concepts and deliverables align with the creative brief and marketing strategy; always adhering to brand guidelines. Scheduling and facilitating creative reviews with key stakeholders to ensure direction and deliverables are in alignment with strategy and purpose. Working closely with partners across the organization to break down complex narratives into simple, performance-driven designs. Recruit, hire, and train a consistently high-performing team, whilst maintaining and building on the strong, empathetic culture that currently exists. SUCCESSFUL INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE DIRECTOR CANDIDATES HAVE: 9+ years of experience working in an ACD or CD role in-house or at a creative agency. 5+ years of management experience; leading a team of creatives is a must, leading a team of creatives virtually is a plus. Experience working in a fast-paced environment, especially on multiple brands in multiple languages at one time. Deep understanding of cultural and market sensitivities globally, with the ability to adapt creative concepts for different audiences.
