And you can maximize your work-life balance and flexibility through our Hybrid Work Model.Job DescriptionOur Asset Control function is seeking a Data Solutions Developer/Python Developer to assist with continued implementation of new applications that can help us optimize the use of our assets (reduce losses, uncover patterns, and anticipate issues).You will work on automation and adjust solutions to regional requirements in partnership with different functions across Brambles.You will be working with previously developed ML models to create a final application that meets CHEP regional needs coupled with any data analysis required to support implementations and/or changes.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for implementing AI/ML solutions developed by the Advance Analytics team by developing, designing, and testing a final solution aimed to optimize the use of our assets.Perform data analysis (What-If, Scenario and sensitivity analysis) to support any new implementation required.Assess implementation effectiveness by conducting tests and simulations on large sets of historical data.Communicate with project SMEs the implementation process, design, and data analysis findings.Develop software solutions using Python that fit regional business needs aligned with Asset Control Transformation program.Work closely with all internal SMEs to understand requirements.Ensure best practices implementation in order to improve service to the business.Propose enhancements on new/current processes (standardization, usability, workload).Identify potential risks and issues and ensure these are pro-actively flagged and resolved throughout program lifespan.Communicate and document code changes following Asset Productivity and Control Intelligence guidelines (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, etc).Experience5+ years professional experience in developing Python applications that implement machine learning models.Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages including Python on UNIX and/or LINUX platforms.Strong experience working with cloud platform providers like Amazon Web Services (S3, Athena).Solid understanding of Version Control principles (Git).Proven and successful track record in implementing Python solutions (Data pipelines, Software applications, etc).SQL experience (Ability to read/write complex SQL queries).Ability to perform high data analysis to inform business decisions.Good stakeholder management experience.
