This organization provides comprehensive development and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on process development, chemical synthesis, and large-scale production. Known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and regulatory excellence, they are a trusted partner to some of the world's top pharmaceutical companies.Key Responsibilities:Perform laboratory work focused on chemical process development.Design synthetic pathways and conduct experiments to evaluate the scalability of chemical processes for manufacturing.Assess and propose alternative synthetic routes, considering chemical complexity, cost-efficiency, intellectual property, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) factors.Use advanced analytical methods to monitor reaction progress and ensure product quality.Collaborate proactively with the Analytical Development team to drive improvements in process design.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidelines, including cGMP standards.Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring project goals and milestones are met.Requirements:A degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Spanish language skillsare desirable but not mandatory, with a commitment to achieving at least B1 level.Able to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.Self-motivated, with a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.Strong organizational skills, with a focus on safety and compliance.Commercially aware, with a customer-focused mindset and strong IT skills.Desirable Experience:Experience in the fine chemicals industry or a CDMO environment is highly valuable.Hands-on experience in chemical synthesis and process development.Proficiency with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and NMR.Experience with Design of Experiment (DOE) methodologies.Ability to conduct effective literature searches using tools like SciFinder.This Process Chemist position is an excellent opportunity to join a global leader in the CDMO industry, driving forward innovation in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing.#J-18808-Ljbffr
