You coordinate the interactions with the other departments (distribution, production planning) to deliver the manufacturing KPIs. This means that:You promote the 0 accident culture on siteYou promote the continuous improvement culture on siteYou lead and coach the core activity of production and the supporting maintenance team to deliver the manufacturing KPIsYou drive elimination of losses/waste on siteYou continuously improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)You lead the manufacturing site through autonomous manufacturing units (AMU)You have 1 common agenda for production and maintenance and have to set priorities for bothYou have a long-term view in several steps to become the best performer in the medical device industryYour main tasks and responsibilities:Giving leadership and direction to your teams in production and maintenanceCoaching the Manufacturing team and the Technical team in mindset and behaviors of leading a team and supporting the business while delivering the KPIsDelivering specific business objectives on OEE improvementsIdentifying opportunities and creating solutions for elimination of losses/wasteEnsuring good practices are exchanged between the different AMUsContinuously assessing and improving the working processes inside the Manufacturing area as well as in the interaction with other Support FunctionsMaintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, quality specifications, hygienic rules, and regulatory requirementsBackground and ExperienceYou have a master's degree in EngineeringYou can build on a wide experience in a manufacturing environment of at least 10 yearsYou have knowledge of lean principles (i.e., waste identification, OEE and limit analysis, SMED)You know how to drive performance improvement across working groups to achieve high performanceYou possess people leadership skills and can lead diverse teamsYou're a leading example of agility and can motivate your team in times of changeYou're an excellent communicator capable of building strong relationshipsYour personality is described by managerial courage and decisivenessYou have analytical thinking skills able to translate high-level vision into concrete actionsYou have strong communication skills in both Dutch and EnglishYou are proficient in MS Office and SAPWhat do we have to offer?A challenging job in an international company with Belgian roots that is leading all over the world.
