Job Description Responsibilities: Demonstrates Fairmont's ServicePlus Standards in all interactionsEnsures that the standards of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts are maintained and highly implementedSupervises, coordinates and gives directions to the entire Team of Colleagues in very efficient and correct manner.To promote good relationship to the guests and ColleaguesControl and analyzes the level on:Quality of ServiceGuest SatisfactionEmployees SatisfactionOperating EquipmentsGrooming StandardsUpdating all Colleague Logs/ FilesParticipate in service as necessary in accordance with Restaurant/Bar needsEnsure hotel grooming and personal appearance standard are metControl stocks for daily use in the restaurant to ensure service requirement of the Cascades/Bridges are metControl breakage, waste and spoilageEnsuring Safe and Healthy work environment for all the Guests and the ColleaguesConduct all Administrative work requiredMaintaining the Lobby Bar's cleanliness as well as ensuring all maintenance needs is looked after.Checking of expiry dates and non-dated products on daily basisSchedules Guest Reservations and arranges for private function or special partyChecked opening and closing duties assigned to all the colleagueMaintain log book on day to day basesConduct shift briefingPerforms job related duties and special project assignedEnsure that Lobby Bar maintains high quality service standardsPerforms daily checks on staffing level, quality control, maintenance, cleanlinessEnsure that the unique services of the Lobby Bar are well maintained e.g. by doing table checksUpdating the Communication BoardClean all coffee machines and make sure to use the safe right detergents and pills. Any maintenance issue should be reported to the leader on duty.Make sure that all open food and beverage items are dated and covered.Follows Hotel's telephone etiquette standardsFollows Occupational Health & Safety regulationsReports suspicious people, parcels, and behaviors to SecurityEnsures adherence to Fairmont's Code of EthicsQualifications Must possess outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skillsMust be guest-oriented and colleague oriented, have a vibrant personality, and radiate enthusiasm to assist peopleProficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language is an assetMust be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environmentMust be flexible in terms of working hours.Must be computer literate and analytical
