Our centers are the heart of a dynamically growing global network where we conduct Amazon's operational activities. It is through them that we manage our inventory resources. We have also developed the best-in-class work organization processes. Employees in the center handle storage, order picking, packing, and shipping, and each plays an important role in building our company.As a Manager, you will be responsible for one of the main teams working in your logistics center: the receiving, storage, picking, packing, or shipping team. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that work runs smoothly and that the team meets or exceeds customer expectations.You will oversee a logistics team of 80 to 120 people. You will be responsible for training and integrating your team, inspiring its members, and motivating them to grow. Additionally, you will assess work progress and actions aimed at maintaining key performance indicators.You will also ensure the motivation, engagement, and good performance of employees by striving to improve and simplify processes.Basic Requirements:Ability to lead multi-tasking teams and tackle logistics-related challenges.Maintain high standards of quality in processes carried out at Amazon.Ensure compliance of inventory records with actual status.Promote safety standards within your team.Become an expert in wide-ranging processes and tasks related to the logistics center.Share best practices with colleagues and staff across the network.Hold a degree in logistics, engineering, administration, or a related field (graduated in 2019 or later).Fluent in Polish and English.Proficient in Excel.Teamwork skills — you must feel at home collaborating with others.Problem-solving and analytical skills — you excel at detailed analysis of complex issues.Ability to make quick decisions and act decisively in a dynamic environment.Willingness to work flexible hours and dedicate the necessary time to complete tasks correctly.Willingness to work shifts (including night shifts).Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a managerial position in a distribution center or logistics warehouse is preferred.Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen is a plus.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
