Mission Context and Role summary The "Digital Platforms" domain is part of the Corporate Institutional Banking Information Technology Operations (CIB ITO) of BNP Paribas.
It is responsible for managing key parts of the infrastructure, such as the core of the servers, databases, storage, backup, middleware, Citrix farms, automation, and VMware infrastructure.
Within this domain, Middleware WEB administration plays a relevant role, managing the entire WEB infrastructure covering the different technologies that are part of the CIB baseline for presentation and application layers.
Position - Key Accountabilities This position focuses on the management of WEB infrastructure for all European countries where BNPP is present, with plans to offer global support to all regions (Follow The Sun support).
This infrastructure provides services in high availability environments to ensure application availability.
Due to the large number of assets to manage, the ability to build and manage scripts to automate operations is a key requirement.
Responsibilities include vulnerability and obsolescence remediation, proactive improvements, and action plans for incidents as part of the day-to-day activities.
Working according to ITIL methodology is part of the daily routine in this and other IT areas.
Others On Site Services: From 7:00 to 19:30 schedule to cover in weekly shifts of 8 working hours/day.
On Call Services: Out of regular schedule, we provide On Call services 24/7 to be covered in weekly shifts by team members.
BNPP is an international company; most Spanish non-working days outside of weekends are considered business days, requiring onsite support with a reduced number of staff.
These days and On Call support have specific compensation, as does any scheduled activity on weekends.
