What are we looking for? We are looking for several Middle Java Developers and Middle DevOps working close to one of our main clients in banking sector.
Main tasks and accountabilities will be: Middle Java Developer:
Work as part of a SRE cross-functional group of engineers in applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to in-house developed front-end applications.Have a clear oversight on how managed systems relate to each other, with autonomy to continuously iterate improvements to achieve highly available, fault tolerant applications.Identify, troubleshoot and pre-empt operational issues being able to understand and modify code.Preserve the platform health and implement tech complianceDrive engineering best practice (e.g, Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, Resilience etc.) and set standards across the team.Estimate, scope and plan your work within an agile environment.Willingness to be part of a 24/7 on-call rota (paid additionally)Middle DevOps:

Middle Java Developer:
+4 years of experience as Developer in OperationsProduction-grade experience of developing and managing API's using Java & Springboot. Excellent understanding of SOLID principles, SOA, HTTP and REST.Good knowledge of Gradle.Production experience running microservices on container orchestration architectures.Passionate about API testing utilising tools similar to Wiremock, Pact, Postman and Cucumber.Good understanding of API authentication and authorisation mechanisms like OAuth.Understand the concept of distributed tracing and have some experience working with logging toolsBasic knowledge of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipeline management via Jenkins.Strong experience in back-end architectural and design patterns.Good knowledge of distributed systems at backend with a proven track record in Performance, Scalability, and ResiliencyGood english level (B2-C1) you will be working with international teams.Middle DevOps:
+4 years of experience as Devops, Cloud Engineer, or similar position in Cloud.Experience in Cloud architecture and adoption patterns. (AWS is most relevant but experiences in Azure, GCP or other cloud providers are useful as well)Excellent understanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipeline management via Jenkins.Strong experience with containers and orchestrators such as Docker and Kubernetes.Good knowledge of distributed systems at backend with a proven track record in Performance, Scalability, and Resiliency.Experience with monitoring, alerting and notifications (NewRelic, Grafana, AppDynamics, Logz.io, …) with demonstrable observability implementations.Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Jira tool)Good english level (B2-C1) you will be working with international teamsValuable and desirable: being entitled of Disability Certificate (at least 33% score).
Work Location 100% remote within Spain.
Work schedule Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
