Role: Software QA Analyst at FX Digital
FX Digital seeks a Software QA Analyst with a passion for ensuring quality in all facets of your profession. You will report to the QA manager, who will provide guidance and support. You will competently and independently write robust test plans and test cases to ensure quality coverage within a fast-paced working environment across multiple concurrent projects (Smart TV apps). You will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of work delivered is of an impeccable standard.

ResponsibilitiesInvolved throughout the full test life cycle (test case planning and definition, test execution, defect capture, and reporting).Enforce and uphold the quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.Hold yourself and colleagues accountable for the standard of work released, ensuring it meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.Thorough documentation of test plans and test cases and their maintenance.Report and prioritize bugs and issues raised through various channels.Proactively and clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders.Work with Junior and Senior QAs to contribute towards implementing broader automation coverage across current and future projects.Assist with the personal development of junior members of the QA team.Requirement analysis.RequirementsGood understanding of HTML and CSS.Some previous experience with or knowledge of JavaScript or another programming language.Knowledge of APIs, testing of them, and related tools.Excellent time-management and organizational skills.Excellent analytical skills and eye for detail.Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to all levels within the business.Experience with version control, workflows, and relevant tools.Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.Able to demonstrate great attention to detail, care, and accuracy while maintaining the speed of work to meet deadlines.Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira.Exceptional understanding of UX qualities.Experience using software debugging tools (e.g., web inspector).Desirable3+ years of relevant professional experience working in a wider team with multiple concurrent projects.Relevant work experience with OTT apps (Connected Devices/Smart TV).Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
