Job Description Tech Stack: Python SQL AWS Snowflake Team: Underwriting Analytics The Underwriting Analytics team is a global group of Data Engineers who support an analytical environment for internal users.
Colleagues are located in the US, Nepal, and Malaga.
The team collaborates with both IT and Business profiles.
As part of this team, your main responsibilities will consist in maintain, support, monitor, and develop new features for our existing Underwriting Analytics applications, as well as participate in the design/development of new application architectures.
Requirements: 2 to 5 years of experience as a Python developer Strong English communication skills #LI-SD2 #LI-Hybrid Qualifications Mandatory 2 to 5 years of experience as a Python developer Strong English communication skills Demonstrable experience in advanced object-oriented programming, unit testing and web/server application design.
Strong ability to document development including database design, application design and ongoing documentation of changes and modifications.
Strong skills of design patterns.
Desirable Knowledge of Agile development methodologies e.g.
Scrum or Kanban and related tools e.g.
Atlassian Jira, Confluence Code Version control e.g.
GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, SVN Desirable main programming language Python > 3.8.
Other languages that we use: C# with .NET, Typescript with Angular.
CI/CD knowledge e,g, Bamboo, Octopus AWS services – S3, IAM, Batch, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB Experience in Cloud warehouses, Snowflake would be ideal.
