Job DescriptionTech Stack:PythonSQLAWSSnowflakeTeam: Underwriting AnalyticsThe Underwriting Analytics team is a global group of Data Engineers who support an analytical environment for internal users.
Colleagues are located in the US, Nepal, and Malaga.
The team collaborates with both IT and Business profiles.
As part of this team, your main responsibilities will consist in maintain, support, monitor, and develop new features for our existing Underwriting Analytics applications, as well as participate in the design/development of new application architectures.Requirements:2 to 5 years of experience as a Python developerStrong English communication skills#LI-SD2 #LI-HybridQualificationsMandatory2 to 5 years of experience as a Python developerStrong English communication skillsDemonstrable experience in advanced object-oriented programming, unit testing and web/server application design.
Strong ability to document development including database design, application design and ongoing documentation of changes and modifications.
Strong skills of design patterns.DesirableKnowledge of Agile development methodologies Scrum or Kanban and related tools Atlassian Jira, ConfluenceCode Version control GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, SVNDesirable main programming language Python > Other languages that we use: C# with .NET, Typescript with Angular.CI/CD knowledge e,g, Bamboo, OctopusAWS services – S3, IAM, Batch, SNS, SQS, DynamoDBExperience in Cloud warehouses, Snowflake would be ideal.
