As a part of the BASF Global Digital Trainee Program , you will receive full support from day one to make meaningful contributions to our team. Our global Cyber Security organization has the task of protecting BASF's IT and OT systems from hacker attacks and ensuring information security. We reduce the expected threat level with our strategic and operational activities. With dedicated projects we significantly increase the maturity of cyber security in the entire organization.
It is our goal to enable and support the business by empowering employees to work in a secure way by raising awareness on cyber security and information protection.
Additionally, as part of the program, you will have the chance to participate in an all-expense paid international stint in Germany, which will further enhance your network and intercultural skills.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
A comprehensive 18-month program based in the Digital Hub Madrid. This includes a 6-month internship period to learn and a 12-month training contract to kick-start your career.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of cloud, programming, networks, security, and automation.
Four rotations, each approximately five months long, in at least three different teams to give you exposure to different parts of digitalization.
An all-expense paid rotation in Germany, helping you to expand your network and further develop your intercultural skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for committed interns/trainees who want to gain knowledge and develop professional skills in the area of Workspace Solutions. We value candidates who set challenging goals for themselves, come with proactivity and approach opportunities with an open mind.
We are looking for:
Finishing a Bachelor's (or Master's) degree, preferably in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics). However, other disciplines are also welcomed.
High interest and background in Workplace and extended Workplace Services with a focus on collaboration tools (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business).
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
A positive, self-paced learning spirit and a growth mindset.
Nice to have knowledge (but not necessary):
Experience in any programming language (e.g. PowerShell, JavaScript, C#).
Basic experience with Cloud Computing (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud).
