Job Description Software Line Manager - M1 Key responsibilities Overall functional SW team management Sets work standards and strategic direction for the SW team (templates, tools, processes) Resource planning and allocation of resources to programs Ensures all team commitments are met Ensure quality of all work done by the team Continuous improvement Further responsibilities Maintain a staffing plan which reflects current and future program resource requirements in cooperation with PMO leader and director RD Talent management, training and development of employees Team building Overall team planning and work organization Identify missing resources Bid and proposal work Assign and build-up team members who are capable and motivated for role of program functional leader Identify and organize team training Owner of the MMSI development process in their area Management of technical knowledge, assets, and lessons learned in their functional area Owner of BOE database of their functional area Manage priorities and protect team Quality: Definition of metrics, tracking, reporting Key skills Leadership and management skills Solid SW technical knowledge of development processes and techniques and technology Communicator, facilitator, problem solver Organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
