Expedia Partner Solutions' global sales operations team is looking for a Sales Operations Manager who will drive the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales teams through close collaboration with various functions to review, improve and implement our sales processes.
What you'll do: Own the sales process component ('the what') of the Sales Blueprint by:
Reviewing the sales cycle and process - does it reflect the needs of the organization and put our partners at the centre of our decision-making?
Streamlining the sales process by proactively proposing new processes, prioritizing automation and sharing best practices
Flagging problem areas and recommend next steps so sales teams can be more efficient
Analysing data and using key metrics as well as stakeholder feedback to measure effectiveness and uncover areas for improvement of the sales process.
Driving adoption and compliance of the concepts defined in Blueprint
Implementing a regular and ongoing cycle of updating the blueprint sales process based on business changes, insights, and feedback to ensure the blueprint remains relevant in our fast-growing business
Updating documentation and driving communication of changes on a regular cadence
Maintaining and supporting the process for the termination of our lowest tier of unmanaged accounts
Maintaining and supporting sales compliance initiatives
Reviewing and establishing the documentation and implementation of sales process exceptions
Supporting ad-hoc initiatives as required
Who you are: Prior experience in sales operations and process improvement in a B2B organization and/or travel industry (Six Sigma certification or any other process certification is a plus)
Ability to think like a salesperson and understand the B2B sales process and the opportunities and challenges surrounding it
Strong ability to simplify complex operations and data and effectively communicate this to leaders across all levels of our organization
Knowledge of how to develop project plans, define timeframe and prioritize tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives.
Knowledge to identify the type of resources required to support a project and make recommendations for specific people, technology, partners, etc.
Drive to monitor progress to meet project milestones, timelines, specifications, and requirements. Drive to develop high-standard goals, ideas, and initiatives and derive satisfaction from executing them
Ability to influence and build consensus among internal teams
Highly collaborative spirit and able to work across many functions and build rapport quickly
Desire to both see and execute the bigger picture and get into the details of required activities
Experience working in a large matrix organization with a fast pace of work
Ability to manage complexity and competing priorities
