What you will be doing: This position is part of the Global Financial Planning & Analysis team.
The FP&A team manages the monthly management reporting, monthly "Estimate" forecasting, annual budgeting, and five-yearly strategic long-range planning processes.
The FP&A Manager would be involved with these processes, with specific focus on in-year risk management, including significant responsibility for the Estimate process and tracking risks & opportunities for revenue and other elements of the P&L.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the monthly Estimate process with the Vice President of Global Finance, including aligning the monthly and weekly "flash estimates" and revising/refining the methodology to increase accuracy.Manage the Risks & Opportunities tracking to provide timely information to the Vice President of Global Finance on potential steps to maximize the potential for meeting Plan targets.Support the Head of FP&A with the annual Plan cycle and the Long Range Plan as necessary.Generate ad hoc analysis as needed in response to internal requests from other World Courier stakeholders or from AmerisourceBergen.Partner with the HR team to continue to improve our headcount and staff cost reporting.Provide support and guidance to other teams across Finance for short or medium-term projects.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in accounting or financial management.4 - 5 years of relevant experience in Finance roles.2+ years of relevant experience in FP&A or business partnering roles.Experience working with Hyperion is strongly preferred.Knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations.REPORTS DIRECTLY TO:Senior Director, World Courier Global Financial Planning & Analysis.
This role will also work closely with the Vice President of Global Finance.
