The C295 Mothership combines the advantages of fixed-wing transport aircraft with those of the UAVs to provide a more efficient, enduring, and cost-effective end-to-end solution to current and upcoming operators. The C295 mothership project evolves the C295 Concept of Operation integrating the delivery and/or control of UAVs. The key project deliverables cope with multi-asset remote deployment and command & control capacity, coordinated multi-platform operation in a 'System of Systems' environment, acting as a strategic link-node with ground-based Mission.
What you will be doing You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Flight Physics Loads & Aeroelastics Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:
You will support the Project Manager in his role and will act as his/her deputy when required. You will have a global view of the project and will contribute to the strategic positioning and making known of the project through all company levels. You will contribute to succeeding the project goals through defining, putting in place, and executing the strategic plans on time, cost, and scope, aligning them within the global strategy of the Programme Line of Transport, Tanker, and Mission aircraft. You will have daily interaction with the different company functions involved in the project execution. You will be involved in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team that will demand excellent interpersonal skills.
