Position SummaryThe Regional Account Manager (RAM) will promote our portfolio of products that are advancing the rare diseases medical landscape.
The region under his/her responsibility will include CCAAs of Madrid, Extremadura, and Castilla La Mancha.As a member of our Sales team, the RAM will develop relationships with existing and prospective clients and engage them in learning more about our rare diseases' product suite for LAL-D and NF1.The ideal candidate should be excited to learn more about pharmacology and motivated to read the latest research and journal articles about our specialties.Principal ResponsibilitiesLeadership positionProvide scientific/medical information (NF1-Koselugo, LAL-D-Kanuma) to opinion leaders and decision makers.Implement Alexion commercial strategy within targeted key accounts/hospitals.
Achieve commercial goals.Identify and communicate to Alexion the environment and requirements of the key accounts.Build a solid network of effective and trustful relationships with key accounts/hospitals/decision makers and influencers.Implement educational and disease awareness plans in accordance with written guidelines and processes, using approved educational resources and tools.Work collaborative with the cross functional team members in the territory – MSL, Access and Patient Journey ManagersOrganize staff meetings in hospitals, with the support of the Medical DepartmentMonitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.Timely feeding of the ETMS system and reporting (Customer Relationship Management),Collect and communicate pharmacovigilance information according to the procedure set up by medical department.Support functionShare all relevant information with Alexion Pharma Country team.Involved in the elaboration of the country marketing/commercial strategy.Be aware and report on the health care policy changes and their impact on Alexion's business.Prepare and conduct medical / educational and promotional presentations to external audiences of customers and stakeholders.Release functionAny action should be performed in respect of the country pharma regulations, and the values and procedure of the company.QualificationsPreferably 3-5 years' experience on Hospital business in rare diseases/orphan drugsPrevious experience in key account management would be highly desirable.Experience in project managementDemonstrable commercial success in a specialist hospital role.Ability to successfully resolve issues/problem solving.Knowledge and understanding of country pharmaceutical regulations.Computer office packs and reporting toolsRegional and National travelBasic spoken and written English.EducationA sound medical/scientific background.Degree in life science (preferred) or business/marketingDate Posted19-dic-2024Closing DateAlexion is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
