Description General Information Hitachi Energy Transformers is seeking a Digital Transformation Leader in the Manufacturing and Operations portfolio.
This role is accountable for the overall shopfloor application landscape including MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), Machine Connectivity solutions, and Connected Worker applications. You will be responsible for helping to develop the digital blueprint in partnership with key business stakeholders and driving the strategic roadmap in collaboration with the appropriate delivery teams. Your main goal is to support the development and deployment of shopfloor-based IT solutions to maximize the quality and efficiency of our global factory network.
Your Responsibilities Identify & lead strategic initiatives for the shopfloor environment across the global manufacturing network.Manage IT portfolio of existing applications and identify opportunities for continuous improvements to meet business needs, including new additions to the application landscape.Drive implementation of key initiatives to ensure timely delivery and tangible business value.Translate complex technology into clear business value and secure buy-in from business stakeholders.Guide strategic organizational development to support the application landscape and end-to-end business processes.Ensure that the projects/programs in the portfolio are properly organized and staffed, and delivered according to appropriate IT standards.Your Background Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent 10+ years of experience in IT application development and deployment, preferably with Manufacturing Execution Systems.5 years of experience in project management of complex global projects, including IT system integration.Experience with manufacturing operations methods, processes, and change management.ITIL 4.0 Experience.SAP Experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate fluently in English in a global multicultural diverse environment.Flexibility to work in different time zones and business travel up to 25%.We offer: Contract of employment according to local policies.Benefits according to local policies.Being part of a Digital Transformation Project for a green energy leader.Working in a multicultural and international environment.New challenges on a daily basis.Gain/develop experience in the green energy sector.Recruitment process: Introduction meeting with recruiter.Meeting with hiring manager and the team.Background/reference check according to local policies.Offer.
