As our Merchandiser for the Wholesale channel in Iberia, you will deliver the product strategy that meets consumer, brand, and commercial objectives for Asics Wholesale by developing and executing the assortments.
To deliver the agreed financial plans and margins for the accounts through effective range planning, clear seasonal transition strategies, forecasting, and performance management.
Based out of our Iberia office, located in Barcelona, and reporting to the Merchandiser Manager South, as part of the role, you will:
Define Seasonal Range StrategiesIn alignment with the Merchandise manager, build a range plan for each season using detailed analysis in conjunction with the Wholesale planner.Market knowledge to include: Pricing, Competitors, Market share, Specialist sports seasonality by market & Wholesale performance.Build range construct and input Wholesale requirements to Regional and Global Merchandising product team.Assortment PlanningEnsure the Assortment provides a customer experience by channel and geography that balances the Brand's strengths and delivers the commercial objectives from the Seasonal range plans. Input qualitative hindsight's to inform the OTB.Work alongside the Planning team to develop the Space criteria within the accounts.Develop a clear understanding of the requirements for accurate Master Data management and work with key stakeholders to manage the flow and accuracy.Performance ManagementActively participate in supporting the Wholesale planner with the forecasting of future stock levels to maximize the opportunities of seasonal crossovers, peak trading weeks, Sale, and specific campaigns.Develop trading strategies to optimize the full price sell-through and minimize the impact on the exit strategy.Systems and ProcessDevelop a clear understanding of the requirements for accurate Master Data management within Retail and work with the key relationships within the business to manage the flow and accuracy.Ensure the accuracy of the Assortment Line sheet.Marketing & VMEnsure all category strategies are supported with a coordinated approach in partnership with marketing and VM.Integrate strong visual merchandising principles into each range build and provide clear communication to the VM and Operations team.About YouBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management.A minimum of 3 years' experience in Merchandising, Category and/or Product management, gained in retail, sports, or related industry.Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).How We'll Help YouYour wellbeing is our top priority.
