Job Description The Building Engineering Services team is a highly qualified group of experts offering the best solutions to international clients' needs around the world. Being part of the Building & Places unit in Spain, this team is at the forefront of the discipline to design the mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) systems required for a safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly operation of buildings. We embrace world-class methodologies and technologies, including information-rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer , you will collaborate in key international and complex projects that are delivered across a diverse range of sectors including Industrial, Healthcare, Aviation, Commercial, and Defense, among others. In this role, you will be expected to: Complete Electrical power and lighting designs for projects of all sizes. Make major design recommendations and design decisions with input from senior staff. Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers. Maintain accurate project documentation and design data for permanent project files. Act as an adviser, reviewing works prepared by other project team members as needed. Evaluate project staffing requirements, analyze problems, and write reports. Attend project meetings with clients or other stakeholders. Help prepare proposals and presentations. Assist in project checking for quality control on other projects. Work on multiple/different projects daily. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with Electrical Emphasis from an accredited program. Fluent in Spanish (verbal and written). Good level of English (verbal and written). Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering design. Knowledge of applicable electrical engineering codes, standards, and current industry best practices. A strong ethical approach to safety, quality, and sustainable design. Working knowledge of design applications is essential (Caneco, Etap, Revit...). #J-18808-Ljbffr
