Their core mission: to simplify the financial world and investment opportunities.What is this job about?: In this role as Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting the structure of the company's platform.Your Challenges:Work with our Engineers team to optimize and improve the capabilities of our platform architectureBuild robust and performant systemsReview and test systems to ensure they are high performance and secureCreate reusable code librariesMonitor the performance of the systems and develop solutions for any failure if necessaryWhat do you need to apply?:Language skills: Advanced level in English (C1)At least 4 years of experience in Backend developmentMin. 3 years of programming experience in Python, notably web frameworks such as Django / FlaskExperience with SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience in serverless solutions and microservices architectureHands-on experience working with Docker containers and KubernetesFamiliarity with DevOps concepts and CI/CD toolsExperience in designing and running production workloads on AWS (ideally) / GCP / AzureStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityExperience with a wide variety of architectures and technologiesOutstanding analytical and organizational skillsWorking Mindset:You are organized and rigorousDynamic problem solverSelf-learnerMultitasker and independentAttention to detail and analytical thinkingExtra points:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related engineering fieldExperience with Elasticsearch and the Elastic (ELK) stackExperience with Redis and RabbitMQExperience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworksExperience with stream-processing, building data pipelines, etc.Important: For this position, you will be working in Madrid, Spain.
