Role: European Head of Supply Chain and Logistics (Based in Portugal)
Salary: €90,000 – €120,000
Location: Portugal - Hybrid (60:40)
We are partnering exclusively with a global consumer goods business for the Head of Supply Chain & Logistics on a fantastic opportunity. The role will give the individual great scope and ownership to develop their offering to retailers across Europe, building out a brand new supply chain.
You'll be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain for the retail operations, including value creation, delivery proposition, customer collaboration strategy, and developing their go-to-market strategy as well as distribution channels. This business is incredibly people-centric, working with a highly passionate and driven team within a market-leading brand. They are a customer-obsessed business dedicated to delivering excellence to their customers while fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
What You'll Do: E2E Supply Chain: Responsible for end-to-end Supply Chain, accountable for both strategic and tactical initiatives.Leadership: Coach and develop a large passionate team of 40-50, instilling a culture of support, continuous improvement, and learning agility.Customer Proposition: Analyse and develop the overarching strategy for the retail supply chain, delighting customers and partnering closely with retailers to drive great ways of working and growth of these accounts.Operational Model Review: Develop and execute strategies to shape a best-in-class supply chain, leveraging internal and external assets to maintain a competitive advantage.What we're looking for: Experience working in (or ideally with) retailers, developing dynamic Supply Chain & Logistics Networks to support growth and customer excellence.Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a strategic mindset able to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels including at a senior level.Strong experience setting up new supply chain networks with exposure across the end-to-end supply chain.Excellent knowledge of working within European markets.Why should you apply for this role?
