The area to cover will be Cataluña, Comunidad Valenciana, Murcia, Aragón y Baleares.About the roleThe MSL role is a field-based scientific expert within Dermatology and includes scientific discussions and presentations as well as responses to unsolicited questions.
Core content of these discussions will be topics of unmet medical needs which are of scientific / developmental importance to UCB in immunology.
You will be the leading local scientific expert for UCB in the therapeutic area.You will also be involved in feasibility processes around new clinical studies and will be the primary contact person for investigators interested in investigator-initiated research, donations, grants, etc.You will be responsible for developing and executing the medical content of the local ecosystem plan, building local medical plans, conducting advisory boards and arranging scientific symposiums.Who you'll work with:Reporting to the Medical Lead, you will be part of a team of 3 colleagues in the Dermatology area.
As the MSL Dermatology you are the scientific discussion partner that interacts with national and international Thought Leaders (Key opinion leaders: KOLs), and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) at various phases of the product life cycle.
You work externally and internally, and closely with an integrated team across functions, you like to work independently with a team player approach.What will you do:Identify and manage key scientific and medical influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics.Explore and identify new sources of patient value by highlighting the holistic disease burden of chronic immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs).Manage and generate product/disease state data (Phase III/IV, IIS, audits, real-world evidence, etc.
).Partner with key clinical KOLs, payers, patient organizations, and patients to advance medical initiatives and drive optimal patient care.Share insights, innovation opportunities, and patient needs internally with patient-value units.Drive the development of real-world evidence in the local ecosystem and leverage UCB solutions' value for patients to medical and payer communities.Interested?For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:MSc.
in Life Sciences.Excellent communication and presentation skills in Spanish and English.3+ years of MSL experience preferred.Proven track record with biologics in immunology, preferably Dermatology.Strong business acumen and holistic understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.Effective influencing and project management skills
