Job Description The Medical Manager (Primary Care) plays a strategic role in delivering medical education and fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals. This position involves managing a high-performing team and ensuring alignment with brand objectives and scientific needs. Key responsibilities include:
Supervising and coordinating the Primary Care medical team, including Medical Advisors and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).Leading the creation and implementation of medical action plans and omnichannel communication strategies.Overseeing the development of digital medical content aligned with brand and scientific community needs.Driving Real-World Evidence projects, including clinical case studies, posters, and publications, leveraging digital tools for execution.Organizing webinars, video conferences, and other digital initiatives for continuous medical education.Facilitating collaboration among healthcare professionals, specialists, and therapists to promote scientific exchange.Utilizing data analytics to evaluate team performance and improve the effectiveness of medical strategies.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, regulatory, digital, and compliance, to align strategies and ensure regulatory adherence.Encouraging innovation within the team by exploring and adopting emerging technologies to enhance service delivery.The Successful Applicant Education: Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related field. Advanced qualifications (PhD or Master's) are a plus.Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with exposure to medical, marketing, or sales functions.At least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Manager, managing multidisciplinary teams.Skills: Strong strategic mindset and the ability to navigate complex systems.Solid understanding of medical and data privacy regulations, especially in digital contexts.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on customer and stakeholder engagement.Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments.What's on Offer This role offers a unique blend of strategic and operational responsibilities, providing the opportunity to shape medical strategies while ensuring their effective implementation.
