For our office in Barcelona, Farmaprojects is looking for a new Medical Innovation Lead to join our Portfolio Department.
This position will report directly to the Head of Portfolio.

Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES Actively contributing with medical and scientific expertise during ideation & nomination processes of all new product ideas Providing strategic scientific and medical input to the corporate portfolio strategy Proactively assesses therapeutic areas and define unmet medical needs Building, developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals in a broad range of therapeutic areas Acting as scientific liaisons and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and feedback between the company and the medical community essential for gaining insights into real-world clinical practice and for ensuring that the company's products meet the needs of patients and practitioners alike. Acting as point of contact between Medical and Clinical teams both internally and externally. Monitoring scientific and medical developments in the fields of interest Supporting portfolio and commercial teams with scientific/medical and promotional marketing materials Representing the company in scientific and business events EXPERIENCE and COMPETENCIES Advanced degree in medical or life sciences (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD, MS) Minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry Strong knowledge of medical strategy, clinical development, and Medical Affairs Strong understanding of the drug development process and regulatory requirements Preferably experience of interacting with HCPs on a peer-to-peer basis Experience and ability to provide strategic leadership across working groups and teams Interpersonal skills with ability to create and sustain credible relationships with HCPs Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment Effective problem solving using creative solutions Strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to influence High learning agility and open mindset for change. Creative mindset with the ability to drive innovation within the teams and projects. Strategic mindset, collaborative approach and a high level of integrity are personality traits that will be beneficial for this role.
