.In collaboration with cross-functional colleagues, is the country external **medical/scientific leader with authorities, patient organisations and **external opinion leaders.**Main responsabilities:**Lead Medical operations in the country.**:- Oversee execution by local medical team and where appropriate provide hands on, direct support in execution of- Medical information and PharmacoVigilance management- Medical education, grants, publication, national, regional events, trainings, webinars etc, ad-boards, KOL mapping and engagements- review of promotional and relevant non-promotional materials and activities in the appropriate systems/tools and in compliance with SOPs,rules and regulations.- provide clinical expert opinions and where appropriate training on products and therapies for internal and external customers- Keep up to date, monitor and report on scientific developments and competitor activity in therapeutic areas relevant to company's interests and strategy - update relevant colleagues.- In collaboration with country cross-functional teams, create and implement strategic and operational plans in the country, in line with global and regional strategy, enabling cluster/country achievement of Global Medical Affairs, regional and cluster/country targets- Ensure successful execution of the Medical Affairs strategy and plan in line and consultation with the responsible cross-functional teams- Compliance with GCP, SOP's, guidelines and regulatory requirements within the country**Interaction with external scientific and clinical experts (KOLs)** in relation to country, regional and global activities**Leadership of Medical Affairs team (Small team)**- Manage Medical Advisors/managers,Medical Information and field-based MSL- Recruit & onboard team members- Develop and grow team members- Define roles and competencies- Define clear measurable objectives and responsibilities for the team**Represent the country internally and provide cluster/country input,** field insights at the Global Medical Affairs and regional level where required**Develop relevant data generation activities to support country, regional and global objectives & strategy (research, clinical studies, RWE, patient programmes, data mining etc)**- Assess, design, and lead data generation activities- Oversee and ensure excellence in local execution, timely, legally compliant, high-quality performanceOverall responsible for resource allocation and budget control for the Medical Affairs Department- Medical Doctor preferred
