We represent diverse experiences and backgrounds which strengthens our team and mirrors the healthcare communities we engage.Main Responsibilities:The FLU/COVID Medical advisor will participate in and execute the Medical and scientific (non-promotional) strategy for the SPAIN FLU/COVID portfolio/therapeutic area in close partnership with the MSLs and other transversal functions with the overall franchise strategy.The main responsibilities include:Build deep FLU/COVID expertise and product knowledge including competitor data (be the internal and external reference person).Strong presence in the field (approximately 50% of the time) to collect insights, generate scientific influence and cultivate and maintain strong engagement with public health and KOLs in alignment with field teams.Back up the FLU medical lead/head in global/local meetings.Support the creation and implementation of medical plans.Develop a strong business acumen, to be a key strategic business partner to the organization in conjunction with the Flu medical lead/head.Support and drive rapid integrated evidence planning and execution through a deep understanding of internal and external stakeholder evidence needs and robust data gaps analysis.Cultivate and maintain good collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders and with external experts.Lead omnichannel approach for medical education.Drive strong collaborative relationships with commercial and cross-functional teams, including marketing, value & access, health economics, regulatory and clinical.Implement true scientific engagement journeys by bridging channel disconnection to drive ongoing engagement and grow collaborative opportunities and meaningful scientific exchange.Champion the patient voice when developing and implementing medical strategies.About youEducation/Experience/Certification:Scientific/basic science or medical degree: MD or equivalent Science degree preferred, PhD or PharmD (Doctorate level education a plus).Industry experience 3 years (including medical affairs field or office) and/or clinical experience mandatory, ideally with relevant vaccine/therapeutic area experience.Good understanding of the continuum of data generation including clinical development, Real World Evidence (RWE), and data gaps analysis.Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices.Ability to rapidly assimilate and integrate new data.Ability to act independently with a solutions-oriented and balanced approach to ambiguity
