Medical Advisor role: As a medical advisor, your mission will be the implementation and management of all medical activities of products related to cardiometabolic therapeutic area in accordance with current regulations, internal standard operating procedures, and medical management guidelines, to achieve the company's strategic business objectives and ensure cross-cutting cooperation with business teams and support teams.
You will be primarily responsible to enhance the understanding of the scientific and medical value of our product in the therapeutic area.
Reporting to EP Growth Medical Lead, this role is strategically positioned to realize the ambition for Dyslipidemia/diabetes team and contribute to the success of Sanofi.
Establishing and maintaining long-term professional relationships with medical experts and other stakeholders within the healthcare field.
Leading and maintaining relationships with employees of medical affairs, marketing, sales, market access and other stakeholders.
Providing medical information to stakeholders.
We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary leader interested in shaping the management of patients who have very high or high cardiovascular risk (including diabetes).
Your core responsibilities will include: Supporting Medical Lead in establishing the Glocal Medical Plan and its implementation. Detecting clinical development opportunities or generating knowledge regarding the therapeutic area. Keeping up to date about medical and scientific developments in the Dyslipidemia/diabetes area (including competitors). Gathering data and identifying insights from the field in-field interactions (visits, congresses,…) or coordinating/participating in Advisory boards. Providing feedback to the cross-functional organization to feed the Medical Glocal strategy. Tailoring engagement to the different segments of stakeholders, based on comprehensive stakeholders' mapping. Coordinating, answering and/or directing to right teams any direct requests for ISS, RCT, RWE or others. Supporting Market Access team in driving the access strategy by engaging with regional payers / drug formulary committees and key account decision-makers. Engaging with experts from key accounts to share scientific data, answer scientific questions and support them in developing best practices. Disseminating scientific information including innovative medical education materials and research concepts to KOLs and fostering medical and scientific information exchange. Training: Developing scientific training to marketing, sales and other departments. Monitoring strategic publications and preparing a summary with key findings. Collecting information about our competitors and comparing with our product. Sharing educational materials with KOLs and broader medical audiences/groups. About you Experience: Experience in medical department, Medical or Office-based positions. Experience in cardiovascular/diabetes therapeutic area preferred. Experience in academia / research environment highly preferred. Soft skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to utilize effective, professional communications to cultivate strong working relationships. Skilfully plans, prioritizes, and executes multiple responsibilities and projects. Ability to work agile, demonstrate creativity and be a strong team player. Ability to build proper environment to enable Playing to Win culture to flourish. Technical skills: Clear understanding of medical practice, clinical decision-making and healthcare systems related to very high or high CV risk patients. Ability to leverage an omnichannel approach in the engagement with external experts. Ability to interpret key scientific data and translate this information to meet educational and research needs. Understanding Health Economics and value outcomes to support Market Access discussions. Education: Advanced degree in a scientific or medical field (MD, PhD, Pharm D) preferred.
