Your role As a Mechanical Engineer you will conduct product development activities and studies, execute and analyze tests, and produce parts, designs, or sketches, following all appropriate Mechanical Engineering design, safety, and qualification standards.
In this role, you'll be responsible for: Participating in product development activities including engineering studies, feasibility studies, cost estimates, implementation of standard and non-standard specifications, drawing board layout and interpretation, and development of performance or maintenance requirements.
Following all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs.
Working toward commonality and optimization of product & components to reduce design errors and escapes.
Testing models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess operating condition effects.
Producing parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requests.
Bill of material creation.
