Job DescriptionAs a Remote Mechanical Designer at Wecare Medical Specialty, you will play a crucial role in the development of our next-generation medical devices.
You will work closely with a team of engineers, designers, and clinicians to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative products that meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.
Responsibilities:Conceptual Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate innovative design concepts for medical devices.3D Modeling: Create detailed 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) to accurately represent product designs.Design Analysis: Conduct structural and thermal analyses to ensure product performance and safety.Prototyping: Work with manufacturing teams to develop and test prototypes.Documentation: Generate clear and concise technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation.Collaboration: Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 13485).Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the medical device industry.Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).Strong understanding of design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) principles.Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageFlexible work arrangementsOpportunity to work on cutting-edge medical device technologiesCollaborative and supportive work environmentContinuous learning and development opportunities
