My client is now urgently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who will be leading engineering activities for the complete Propulsion system.
You will report directly to the program CE, focusing on running a successful flight test campaign.Your responsibilities will include flight data analysis, and following flight approval, providing and optimizing maintenance requirements as well as supporting any ad-hoc issues arising from aircraft operation.Responsibilities:You will ensure continuous engineering support during the flight-testing activities for the propulsion system of the prototype aircraft.You will provide the Flight test support and Flight data analysis.Support solving any potential issues with the propulsion system, including updating design data as necessary.Requirements:5 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry.University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering or Electrical Engineering (aerospace specialization, M.Sc./M.Eng.
preferred).Good understanding of propulsion systems is required.Ability to quickly understand and react to arising problems to minimize possible AoG time is absolutely essential.Experience with reviewing data sets and drawing conclusions is required.Good understanding of electromagnetic actuation is required.Good knowledge of a CAD system (preferably NX) is required.Basic knowledge of PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter or equivalent) is required.Good knowledge of ISO GPS (alternatively ASME GDT;) and overall good drafting skills are beneficial.Job Type:ContractContract length: 6 monthsSalary:60.00€ - 65.00€ per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
