Mechanical Design Engineer - Meltio Hardware Linares, Jaén - Full job At Meltio, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing R&D Meltio Hardware team! We are a young, yet rapidly growing company, aiming to take metal 3D printing to the next level by developing high-performance, affordable, and easy-to-use metal 3D printing solutions. What are we looking for? We are looking for a mechanical engineer to assist in the development of our Metal 3D Printers. Previous experience in the design of machine tools or manufacturing systems is greatly appreciated, as well as experience with 3D Printing or CNC Technology and knowledge of related electro-mechanical systems (Servo motors/encoders, etc.). Must have experience in working with complex assemblies in CAD and a good understanding of engineering principles. The mechanical engineer will follow projects from conception through design, manufacturing, and testing all the way to production. Main responsibilities: Develop and optimize designs in 3D CAD software with associated CAE tools.Validate manufacturing, assembly, and service feasibility.Complete and release component designs and documentation, including 2D drawings.Validate components per defined engineering requirements.Resolve issues and concerns with cross-functional teams including engineering, firmware, supply chain, production, and service.Participate in the sourcing process and manage engineering relationships with suppliers.Deliver to defined schedules.You will be a great fit for the Meltio team if you are/have: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Proficiency in a 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor is Required).Experience with component and assembly design, analysis, and validation.Knowledge and experience working and integrating hardware adjacent to machine tools (bearings, motors, sensors, etc.).Completed Mechatronic project such as CNC or 3D Printer.Great technical and interpersonal communication.Advanced level of English.Availability to be in Linares from Monday to Friday.If you feel like you would be a great addition to our team, send us your CV and project portfolio to ******.
