Job Description: A position for a ME Development Composite Specialist has arisen at the Industrialization Manufacturing Engineer Center of Competence in Airbus Defence & Space. We are looking for a worker to cover a new position focused on Composite Manufacturing Engineering for development program detail parts. The activities to be carried out cover from feasibility phase up to prototype phase.
Responsibilities include: Estimate non-recurring costs associated with industrial development and recurring costs.Support the "bid/no bid decision".Define the industrial model, build process, and technological manufacturing solutions for each composite part.Establish industrial requirements to optimize product definitions to meet time, cost, and quality requirements.Generate iDMU (Industrial Digital Mock Up) and define industrial concepts (jigs and tools, test means, machines, and automated systems).Define plant layout requirements, fundamentals, and suppliers.Manage technical aspects in the development of supplier work packages.Manufacture samples for viability tests and manage technical aspects of bids.Create technical specifications for tooling and define test means.Create and agree on Industrial Interconnection Documents.Perform detailed simulation of processes and balancing of the line.Lead the technical management of manufacturing prototype parts and tests.Support first articles and coordinate non-conformities.The position is based in Cádiz Plant in Spain, and travel to Getafe, Tablada, or Manching to support development activities will be required.

Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.Strong technical background in composite manufacturing engineering.Job experience in development, industrialization, and serial production support for composite detail parts is required.Composite technology knowledge on new processes (e.g., liquid resin infusion, automatic fiber process) is highly desired.Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics and in a networking mode. Fluent English written and spoken is a must. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, are needed. The jobholder will join an already running team, so agility and a speedy learning curve are essential.
