Md-169 Accounting Manager (Accounting)

FUNCTIONS: The Accounting Manager will supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOversee accounting daily operationsMonitor and analyse accounting dataRegularly produce financial reports or statementsMain contact with Shared ServiceEnsure that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislationAdhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principlesPerform and oversee annual auditTrain new employeesEnsure key balance sheet accounts are reconciled timely and accuratelyAssist senior management with ad-hoc tasksSKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Accounting required or EquivalentMinimum of 5 years of experience as Accounting ManagerPrior experience with SAPExperience working with Shared ServicesAdvanced PC skills using Outlook, Excel (ability to perform Pivots, V-lookups and other functions with Excel)Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Experience with financial reporting requirementsAbility to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize and adjust as needs changeAbility to work to strict deadlines and in high-pressure situationsAttention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of dataProven skills in communication and building successful relationships with key stakeholdersCapacity to move in a complex environment and under financial requirement challenges and competing priorities #J-18808-Ljbffr
