.Position Summary This position reports to the Production Controls and Logistics (PC&L) group.

Key Roles & Responsibilities Ability to work with little direction and or supervision.
Strong communication skills between team, support groups and or plant leadership teams.
Support 5S / Housekeeping activities as required.
SAP entries and L2L (Leading to Lean) transactions required as needed.
Support operations in gathering data and driving improvements with a specific focus on waste reduction, enabling material flow, quality and cost throughout their area of support.
Create, analyze and deliver reports to all levels of the organization to gauge effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate and share ideas generated by the continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility.
PC&L Specialist will be expected to safely perform all tasks assigned by Leadership including all positions within the Physical Logistics department.
As a leadership position, PC&L Specialist will be expected to demonstrate the BW Core beliefs and be an example to all Material Operators.
Support and drive self-development activities and department flexibility through learning multiple positions.
Safely operate all equipment in the Materials Fleet including: Sit-down Forklifts, Stand Up Lifts (Both Reach and Pacer), Tuggers, Electric Jacks, and BW company vehicle.
Develop and document PC&L department work instructions.
Must be productive and motivated while completing assigned tasks on time.
Audit task performance to standards.
Must be willing and able to learn new things within a reasonable amount of time.
Assist in administration of daily operations management meetings.
Must be able to work well with others and provide excellent customer service.
Report progress to Management as needed.
Meet physical logistics KPI (Safety, Internal / External Delivery, Logistics Quality, Cost (Scrap / HPUS), Associate Engagement and Teamwork).
Wear all required PPE.
Other projects/tasks assigned.
Safety, Health and Physical Requirements: Stand for long periods of time including during operation of stand up lifts.
Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs repetitively.
Stepping up and down off lift; walking long distances over extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working in a non-climate controlled environment.
Repetitive motion activities including but not limited to box cutting, standing, lifting, loading/unloading carts.
