Maths Teacher - Igcse/A-Level/Ib

Think Ahead Academy is an elite tutoring academy specialising in teaching the IGCSE, A-Level, and IB curriculums, aimed at students from British and International backgrounds between the ages of fourteen and eighteen.

Our team currently consists of a group of young professionals, with a native level of English and ample experience in the IGCSE, A-Level, and IB curriculums. We have teachers from 8 different nationalities working with us, with the common goal of maximising the potential of our students.

We look for teachers with a true passion for education, capable of maintaining the necessary intensity and interest regarding their students and their subjects throughout the year.

What would you do?Weekly face-to-face lessons (max. 5 students per group).Full commitment toward our methodology and active participation in developing and rolling out educational actions.Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, materials, and instruction methods.Prepare course materials, homework assignments, and handouts.Evaluating student performance and continuous feedback with the Coordinators and Directors.Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records. What do we need?Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Maths, Engineering, or any Maths related career. Most importantly, the candidate must be able to teach Maths at least at IGCSE (16-year-old) level.1 year + of teaching experience.Native or excellent English speaking and writing.Excellent creative, communication, and presentation skills.Engaging personality and teaching style. What do we offer?Salary: The fee varies from 17 euros/hour to 43 euros/hour depending on the number of students.Schedule: Think Ahead Academy - Afternoons from 5:15 pm to 9:15 pm.Locations: Alcobendas/Madrid/Pozuelo/Online. All the members of our team are trained and guided through the teaching process as well as supported with a great variety of educational resources. We also believe in diversity when it comes to teaching and understand that every teacher must apply our method in the way that suits him/her best.
