Job overview:
St George Madrid is a well-established school located in a prime educational zone to the North of the capital. The school is a part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), which includes 77 schools across 21 countries focused on growing internationally minded students through outstanding practices.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner, preferably with experience of teaching Mathematics across the secondary phase up to the end of Key Stage 5 (Year 13). We follow the English National Curriculum at Key Stage 3, IGCSE at Key Stage 4, and the IB Diploma programme in our Sixth Form (Key Stage 5). Experience of teaching across this range would be a distinct advantage.
As part of the secondary team, the successful candidate would assist with developing the school's Mathematics programme within our Mathematics department. A commitment to educating the whole child, high levels of pastoral care, and an inclusive approach to education is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability, and a flexible approach to problem-solving.
