We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic specialist teacher of Mathematics for November 2024. The successful applicant will be able to teach Mathematics at Y7 to Y10 IGCSE. We are looking for someone to join an experienced and successful secondary team who has a passion for developing high-quality teaching and learning which ensures excellent student progress and engagement.
REQUIREMENTS:
A first degree in Mathematics or similar.
A P.G.C.E. or equivalent UK Teacher Education qualification.
Proficient level of English (Mother tongue / C2).
At least 2 years of teaching experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure planning, preparation, assessment, and reporting meet students' diverse needs.
Plan engaging, challenging lessons for consistent progress.
Address all students' needs, including Special Educational Needs, with appropriate interventions.
Maintain efficient records, integrating assessments per school policy.
Adhere to department policies on curriculum, feedback, behavior, and resources.
Maintain good order and discipline in line with the school's behavior policy, inside and outside the classroom.
Communicate regularly and professionally with parents.
Participate in school meetings and comply with all relevant policies.
Ensure student safety and wellbeing.
