The Materials Planner is responsible for optimizing material planning based on material group and handling operational tasks connected to the plan. He/She will ensure there are adequate quantities on time and volume to support the production of semifinished goods and finished goods, while maintaining proper levels of working capital and safety stock.

What You Will Do Plan raw material deliveries in the short, medium, and long term to meet production demands and maintain efficient operations.Collaborate with various departments to mitigate potential material shortages and ensure smooth production flow.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contributing to their performance evaluations.Coordinate with different functions to minimize raw material write-offs and manage phase-in/phase-out processes.Actively contribute to new projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.Analyze and update safety stock levels for raw materials based on individual material and factory constraints.Ensure accurate and up-to-date master data in the system.Who You Are Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational efficiency.Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization, with the ability to adapt between detailed and global views.Adaptability and ability to multi-task.Capable of working and developing in ambiguity.Excellent team player.Proficiency in English; additional language is a plus.SAP or equivalent experience is advantageous.Excel knowledge and Power Apps is a plus.What We Can Offer You At Essity, we believe every career is as unique as the individual and empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.
