This position requires 100% on-site work in Belgium.Roles and Responsibilities:Analysis and writing of technical specifications.Support the full scope of M&P activities, ranging from technical survey and R&D up to new aircraft projects and serial life support.Support other departments (Production, Quality, Purchasing) as an M&P specialist.Minimum Requirements:Education:Civil engineer in Materials Sciences (Metallurgy, Chemistry) or civil engineer in Mechanics with good knowledge of materials.Fluent in English; knowledge of French is an asset; good technical writing capabilities in English.Experience:2-8 years of experience working in similar positions.Technical Knowledge:Mechanics of materials.Manufacturing processes related to aerospace materials and mechanical standards/fasteners (assembly).A good knowledge of the mechanics of rigid and deformable bodies ("Resistance of Material"). Experience in testing and stress is an asset.Good theoretical knowledge of laboratory material characterisation techniques and methods for chemical, physical and mechanical analysis.Mechanical hardware, fasteners technologies and assembly techniques (fastening, adhesive bonding, welding, etc.).Computer tools: Microsoft tools, PLM: Teamcenter.
